The best way to do this would be to go to the app store page for TextNow and uninstall from there, then reinstall when you have the option to do so. If all else fails the best thing to do is reinstall the TextNow app. Please note if you Clear Data this will erase your conversations. You can do this by going to the phone Settings > Apps (Sometimes called Apps and Notifications) > TextNow > Storage > Clear Cache. Clearing the cache does not erase any personal data in the app. On iPhone, you can go to Settings > TextNow and make sure that "Mobile Data" is toggled on.įor Android users, clearing the cache can also be helpful when this issue occurs. Then make sure that "Background Data Usage" is toggled on. Tap on "Data usage" or "Mobile data & Wi-Fi".
